Coventry City has been promoted to the Championship as League One champions. The Sky Blues will compete in the second tier of English football next season after being crowned champions following a vote by clubs to end the season early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coventry had a seven-point lead over second-placed Rotherham United at the time of the suspension of the season in March. The Sky Blues had won 23 of their 34 games, drawing seven and losing just four.
Tranmere Rovers, who were bottom of the table at the time of the suspension of the season, have been relegated to League Two. The Prenton Park club had won just five of their 34 games, drawing nine and losing 20.
